Originally from Des Moines, Joseph has continued his career throughout the United States, singing with Florida Grand Opera,  The Dallas Opera, Chautauqua Opera,  Wichita Grand Opera, Charlottesville Opera, Painted Sky Opera, Peach State Opera, Opera on the James, and American Baroque Opera Company.

2024/2025

Joseph returns to Texas for a fundraiser with Opera Arlington in September, From Opera to Broadway.  In October, Joseph travels to New York City for his much anticipated debut at Giorgio Germont in Verdi's La traviata at The Church of the Village (Presented by the Jarrar/Brea Duo). Mr. Canuto Leon will then have his house debut as the Father in Hansel und Gretel with Wichita Grand Opera to close 2024. 2025 sees a house debut reprising Giorgio Germont for Peach State Opera's tour production of Verdi's La traviata, and he returns to Florida Grand Opera in April of 2025 for his role debut in Bizet's Carmen as Moralès.
